🍀Lucky Session🍀

I got some of my senior 2025 girls together and did a St. Patrick's Day styled photo shoot in my garage in Cabot, Arkansas. The weather was perfect, and we had a lot of fun planning, shopping, eating cookies, and throwing some confetti.

Are you searching for a distinctive way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year? Why not consider a fun and festive-themed photoshoot? You could create your own memorable St. Paddy's Day celebration.

So, tell me, how do you typically celebrate this enjoyable holiday?

First, let's start with taking some photos of those who are not enthusiastic about being photographed. If you have one of those or even if you don't start here. Have your partner stand straight on to the camera. You will pose around them.

#1 The Shoulder Hang

You will come in from the side and hug his/her arm and your back arm up over their shoulder. Play around with looking at the camera, looking at each other, and even come in with a little nose touching or a kiss.

*Tip- take the photo right before the kiss. No one wants to see lips on lips.

#2 The Side Hug

This one you probably do all the time. Wrap your arms around your partner's waist. This one can also be done with your partner turned with their back to the camera.

#3 The Mini Dip

"Let's move on to the next pose called 'The Mini Dip.' This pose requires your partner to turn towards you. Reach your arm around their neck and try to stretch it out as far as possible. Bend at the waist with a big arch in your back, as if you are pushing away. Finally, cross your wrist to complete the pose."

#4 Whisper a Secret

This is one of my favorite photo ideas. It can be both sweet and romantic, with a dash of playfulness thrown in. Just make sure your photographer is clicking away. .

#5 The Tackle

Have your partner come from behind and do a soft tackle with a spin. This one is great for fun action motion images.

*BONUS*

Most important is to just be yourself and have fun with it. If you try these out I would love to see them.

What Not To Do Before Your Boudoir Session!!

Tip 1: Do not try a new hairstyle right before your session.

Trying a new hairstyle right before your boudoir session is a bad idea. You are investing a lot of time and money into these photos and you will cherish them forever, so don’t take the risk of trying something new. Whether that be a new haircut, style or color. Just don’t do it. If there was ever a time to play it safe… this is the time

Tip 2: Don’t drink heavily the night before.

Okay, okay… a glass of wine won’t hurt. But I highly advise not drinking heavily. The reasons are obvious. You will bloat. Feeling bloated is never fun and especially not at your boudoir session. Also, I need you ready and alert for your session. Some poses we do aren’t super easy and you will have to do some stretching to get into the pose. Think of it like alight yoga session. And no one likes doing yoga hungover.

Tip 3: Do not get sunburned right before your session.

If you are into tan lines… then go for it! If not, I highly recommend staying out of the sun for a few weeks before your boudoir session. It is incredibly difficult to paint in and even out tan lines on your body when you are wearing lace lingerie. Also, please stay away from self tanner as well. That stuff rubs off on the white sheets, couch and floor and its very hard to get out and can ruin sheets. It also pretty much always goes on unevenly and can very sly be overdone and make you look orange on camera. If you want a tan (fake) I can send you to the best spray tanner!! I recommend going at least 4 days before your session.

Tip 4: Don’t keep all your questions, emotions and concerns to yourself.

Doing a boudoir session is an emotional thing. It is a very vulnerable and empowering experience and you will most certainly feel a lot of emotions leading up to your boudoir session. PLEASE reach out to me so I can ease your nerves! That is what I am here for. While I do this all the time, most of my clients never have before and you are not alone in feeling… anything you want. Think of me as your personal hype girl
